FAQ's About Chiropractic
What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic is a way of adjusting the bones of the spine in order to improve their movement and alignment. This allows the brain and nervous system to properly communicate with the body for true health.
Do Adjustments Hurt?
An adjustment may be uncomfortable, especially at first, because most likely you already have pain in the area that requires an adjustment. The more improvement we see with care the less pain you should have from the adjustment and from your initial problem.
How long before I feel better?
Healing takes time no matter what the problem. A simple cut on the finger can take days to heal. Your spine and nervous system are no different and in fact are much more delicate. There is no set healing time. Every person and situation is different. Some people heal very quickly and some not as quick. Your recovery will also depend on your commitment to your scheduled appointments. The more consistent you are the better your results.
